Congress Just Say No to Big Gas, Coal, and Oil E-mail

Oil Change International: "This past August, Congress created a “Super Committee” composed of 12 members of the House and Senate whose job it is to recommend $1.5 trillion in cuts to the federal budget by November 23rd.

"With our country facing massive cuts on programs like education and health care, we cannot afford to waste tens of billions of dollars each year in giveaways to the oil, coal and gas industries. Representatives Earl Blumenauer and Peter Welch have drafted a letter calling on the Super Committee to eliminate these handouts, which could reduce our national debt by $122 billion over the next ten years while bettering the environment and public health. Please ask your Member of Congress to join them." >>Take Action
