Sunday, 23 May 2010  |  Guest Contributor | Blog Entry

If you're looking for a nutrient-packed alternative to crunchy potato chips, try a handful of raw Kale Chips.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces lacinato kale, torn or cut into large strips

  • Olive oil

  • Sea salt

Directions

Rub a little olive oil on the lacinato kale pieces. Spread on a mesh dehydrator screen, and dehydrate for 4-5 hours, or until crips. For variety, add a little tahini to the olive oil, some nutritional yeast, some crushed garlic, and a little water to bind.
