'Macadamia-Strawberry-Banana Smoothie' Recipe

Macadamia nut butter enhances the flavor of this classically tasty fruit combination.

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 2 cups ripe, frozen bananas

  • 4 cups sliced, fresh strawberries

  • 1 Tbsp macadamia nut butter

  • 1 Tbsp agave nectar

Directions

Blend everything in a blender or Vita-mix until smooth. Depending on the sweetness of your fruits, you may want to add a little agave nectar.

I love smoothies, fruit smoothies especially. I'm trying veggie smoothies, too, but I'm taking my time because I'm loving my fruit smoothies like crazy! I will definitely try this smoothie recipe of yours, I like the idea of Macadamia flavor in it, sounds really good.

In winter, set your thermostat to 68 degrees or less during the day (and wear a sweater) and 55 degrees or less at night (and add an extra blanket).
