Pineapples and Mangoes photo by Derek*BPineapple is such a great fruit; it stays fresh on the shelf for several days, and if you can't use it right away, you can freeze it for later. You can even rub the cores on your face for a quick, effective and inexpensive beauty treatment! This smoothie adds mangoes, for a true tropical experience. It's on the thick side, but you can add more water to it if you plan on drinking it later.

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 2 cups pineapple, fresh and diced

  • 2 cups mangoes, frozen

  • 2 bananas, one fresh and one frozen

  • 1 cup water

  • 3 cups leafy greens, such as spinach

Directions
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth. Pour into two 20 oz glasses and enjoy.
