Environmental Website Intern E-mail

EcoHearth.com is seeking an Environmental Website Intern to help maintain the content on www.EcoHearth.com. The Environmental Website Intern’s duties will include loading content into our Content Management System, choosing photos for articles, tagging content, writing news summaries, updating action alerts, doing research, managing our social-media presence and assisting with other Web-related activities. Dedication to environmentalism, and superior organizational and writing skills are required. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Flash, Photoshop and Joomla (or another CMS) is a plus.

The Environmental Website Intern will work closely with a Web Producer and have the first-hand opportunity to learn and contribute meaningfully. This is an unpaid, part- to full-time position based in New York City (but telecommuting from another city is possible), which could lead to full-time employment. The internship starting date is flexible, as is duration.
